Nature Journaling and Other Outdoor Schooling Resources

Hope you enjoying nice weather, wherever you’re located. We’ve talked about outdoor schooling and its practical implementation. This week, we’ll discuss nature journaling.

A nature journal can be as simple as a blank notebook, where your children sketch and take notes on what they observe in nature. Your family can also collect leaves and flowers, dry them, and add them to the notebook pages. If your children don’t particularly enjoy drawing, they can take pictures of whatever is of interest to them, print them out, and paste them into their notebooks.
